Bin Rental FAQ’s
At Two Guys Disposal, we strive to make your experience a pleasant and easy one. Renting a disposal bin can get quit complicated and costly when dealing with the wrong company. If you ever have a questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at (778) 888-2466 during our regular ours or send us an email. We’re always happy to answer your questions and make your experience with us an enjoyable one.
How do I order a bin?
Easily! Just give us a call at (778) 888-2466 and tell us what you are doing and we’ll be happy to explain your options and arrange delivery of the perfect bin for your needs.
How much room do I need on my property for the bin?
A good rule of thumb is to leave at the least, an easily accessible area 12 feet wide by 20 feet long. This gives us and you plenty of room to access the bin. In addition, our bins roll off our truck so leaving an additional 20 to 30 feet for us to place the bin would be very helpful.
Who do I call when I need the bin picked up?
You call our dispatch number (778) 888-2466 and we’ll be happy to arrange a convenient time to pickup your bin.
What if I need more than one bin?
Not a problem. Just give us a call and we’ll arrange a time with you to bring you an empty bin and take away the full one.
Do I have to be on site for the delivery of the rental bin?
If the bin is being placed in an obscure location that isn’t easily accessible, then yes, we require you to be on site for delivery. However, if the bin is being easily placed (for example: in a driveway), then we can place the bin without you on site.
Do I have to be on site to pay for the bin?
If you are paying by MasterCard or Visa, then we can take that over the phone. However, if you are paying by cheque or cash, then yes, we require you to be on site for payment.
How long can I use the bin rental for?
Typically we allow use of the bin for 7 days, however if you require the bin for longer, then special arrangements can be made. Just be aware that additional rental fees might occur.
How high can i fill the bin?
All our bins are “Level Load Only” which means you can only fill the bin to the top of the bin wall. Any items that are loaded higher than the bin wall will be removed and left on site. Or, you might be asked to unload some materials from the bin to bring it to the height of the wall before we pick it up.
Please note, that if we have to come back a second time to pickup the bin due to being loaded over the wall, an additional truck charge will incur.
Can the bin damage my property?
Yes. Both our trucks and bins are very heavy, even when empty. If you prefer us to place the bin on a lawn or soft surface, we do everything we can to minimize damage, but given the weight, there is always a possibility of damage to occur. We prefer to place the bin on a hard surface such as a driveway or gravel area as these areas are far more durable and less susceptible to damage. We may require you to fill out and sign a “Property Damage Liability Waiver Form” if our drivers feel that no matter what they do, damage to your property is inevitable.
Can you place a bin on the road in front of my house?
We can, but you will need to get a permit to place the bin first. We cannot place a bin on a municipal road without first seeing a permit. Municipalities have been known to haul away a bin placed on a road without a permit. Please contact your municipal hall for more details.
